Beyond Reach Labs is releasing Flarewing™ — deployable solar arrays that deliver more power per launch to bring energy to the places in space that need it most: from high‑power buses to orbital data centers, stations, and the lunar surface.
Flarewing is a product family, not a one-off array. Three standard sizes cover missions from small buses to megawatt-class infrastructure, and each wing uses the same deployment mechanism: compact for launch, rigid on orbit, and designed to scale without giving up pointing performance.
Why Flarewing
Up to 200 kW per wing. A single Flarewing-L delivers over 10x the power output of any existing solar array thanks to our novel deployment mechanism.
More than 100 kW/m³. The power density of Flarewing-L is more than twice that of the ROSA solar array thanks to the gapless flat-packing of its deployment mechanism.
Improved satellite mobility. Our deployment mechanism’s out-of-plane bracing elements maintain rigidity at scale, increasing controller bandwidth and pointing performance.
Designed for constellations. Beyond Reach Labs’ Flarewing is designed for high-volume manufacturing to expedite the launch of your satellite constellation.
